OUR PROGRAMS

Our groups and private classes are led by our instructors and no partner is required. They teach a range of Latin & Ballroom dance steps to various rhythms, eg.: Samba, Cha Cha, Rumba, Meringue, salsa, Modern Tango, Foxtrot, Waltz and Argentine Tango.

Classes include instruction in step routines as well as correct posture, arm and foot movement.

Pre School Dance
Specifically tailored to meet the mental, social and physical needs of children ages 3 to 6, our goal is to bring laughter, music, fun and dance into the lives of young children. Your rising star will explore the world of creativity through movement, music and dance, imaginative play and emotional expression. Our classes are 1 hour in length and assist to develop our students' gross motor skills through the introduction of fundamental dance techniques such as Ballet and Latin dancing.

At Salida, we have created a learning environment that also reinforces listening skills, following directions, taking turns and behaving respectfully. This environment promotes a sense of self-respect, discipline, leadership and poise. These attributes provide a solid foundation for your child's future endeavors.

Latin Dance
Our Latin Dance program will offer you the best techniques for partner dancing in both the social and professional arena. The objective is to bring your level of dancing to new heights.

The Latin Dance Program is designed for Beginner/Intermediate dancers who are focusing on Salsa, Meringue and Bachata, but is open to all levels and dance backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to stay on with us on a month to month basis for classes and practice.

Argentine Tango
Tango-dancing and walking programs are available in group and private classes. Designed for beginning through advanced dancers, these classes are led to improvement only in tango with its different styles because of high baseline mean for the walk group. This program helps the Tango dancer to develop a strong connection with the music, the dance and the audience. Students will learn proper body alignment, traditional Tango technique and the grace of motion, while at the same time building muscle tone and strength.

Students who join our programs are in a constant state of excitement and love for the art of dance. The energy created by this excitement is channeled through our structured syllabus, which is the key factor of our program’s success.

New Pilates Sessions / Tangolates Method by Tamara Di Tella
Pilates dramatically transforms the way your body looks, feels and performs. It builds strength without excess bulk, creating a sleek, toned body with slender thighs and a flat abdomen. It teaches body awareness, good posture and easy, graceful movement. Pilates improves flexibility, agility and economy of motion. It can even help alleviate back pain.
Professional dancers have known the benefits of Pilates for decades. Top athletes use it for strength, flexibility, and injury prevention. Hollywood celebrities and supermodels use it to maintain beautiful physiques.

Tangolates (Tango-Pilates) Tangolates® or Tango Pilates is an innovative mind-body cardio class. Created by Tamara Di Tella® of Buenos Aires, and originally introduced to the medical community as Pilates-For-Two©, this licensed DI TELLA® Apparatus and its method is now endorsed by celebrities like Sting, Bryan Adams, and American Ballet Theater’s idol, Julio Bocca. Now Purchased as a license at Salida. A new Tango choreographed core-centric pilates challenge re-worked by creator Tamara Di Tella. It is based on certain characteristics of both Tango and Pilates, yet it is different from both. It combines the core stability of Pilates with the concentration, coordination and fluid movement of Tango Music. It is unique in that it utilizes a partner method rather than individual exercises and that it incorporates the aerobic or cardio element of music.
